[edit] Introduction

To use the bulk upload tool, you will need to prepare a tab delimited spreadsheet. No special software is required although it is suggested to use an editor such as Microsoft Excel to create your file. Please review the instructions below for the required field and optional field values. Bulk uploads do not support variations. It will only add the default variation,any additional variations will need to be manually entered after the file has been processed.

The title of your product.

Format: Text. Maximum length of 60 characters.

The description of your product.

Format: Text. Maximum of 10,000 characters

example: "The Veracruz Oval Table and accompanying Patio chairs are cast from aluminum, welded and constructed with longevity in mind. During the finishing process, each piece is sanded, brushed, and painted by hand."

The numeric value of your local category id. Click here for a list of your categories and IDs. View the bulk upload page for category ID #s

The URL of an associated image for the product. Use your full-sized images; do not use thumbnail images. If you do not have an image available, leave the attribute blank. Do not include logos or an image that says, "Image not available."

The price for the product.

Format: Numeric

The weight of the product. This is required regardless of shipping method

Format: Numeric (pounds)

Specifies if the item is taxable

values: No = 0

Specifies the condition of the item (new or used)

values: New = 0 Used = 1

values: Free Shipping = 0 Weight-Based = 1 Flat-Rate = 2

The price you are charging if flat-rate shipping is selected.

The price you are charging for additional items if flat-rate shipping is selected. If you are not offering a discounted rate, enter the same value as flatrate_fee.
