[edit] Adding New Products
After clicking the Add new product link, just fill in the appropriate fields with your product information and hit the Save product button. BuyItSellIt Video Tutorials
Here are some tips for entering product information:
- SKU (Stock keeping unit): An SKU is a unique identifier for each of your product entries which you can use to better organize your inventory. You don't have to use SKU numbers, but they can be very helpful especially if your inventory gets to be large. There are a number of different ways you can write SKUs, but you should stick to the same format for each of your products.
- Have BuyItSellIt Track stock level for me: If this option is checked, it means you want to keep track of how many individual products of this type you have available to sell. After successful checkout and payment, BuyItSellIt will automatically deduct the quantity purchased from the stock level available.
- Deny/allow out-of-stock purchases: If the product is out of stock, it will prevent the buyer from adding the product to their cart.
- Weight: All products require a weight value to be entered. If an multiple products are added to your cart that contain multiple shipping methods, BuyItSellIt will default to calculated shipping. If all of your products use flat rate shipping, you can simply enter 0 for weight. All weight is in US pounds. If your product is 8 ounces, you would enter 0.5 for a product weight.
[edit] Editing your product information
After adding a new product to your store or by clicking on the pencil icon in the main product list, you are able to edit any values of the item.

Variations could represent different sizes, colors if you are selling clothing.
[edit] Image Management
All products are allowed up to 10 seperate images. You are able to drag and drop each of your product's images to put them in any order you like. The first image will be the first image displayed in most themes.
[edit] Digital Product Delivery
As an upgraded feature, you can attach a file you would like associated with this product. If you have upgraded to a digital file delivery plan, you will have an upload form at the bottom of the add/edit product page to attach a file. Upon successful checkout and payment, the buyer will automatically be sent a link with a unique URL to download the file.
[edit] Google Product Search / Attributes
All products listed in your store are automatically submitted to Google Product search for maximum exposure to your items. Although Google Attributes are not required, it is strongly recommended. Please see Googles documentation on available product types and attributes:
BuyItSellIt will automatically submit the following: Price, Title, Description, Link, and Image
